When a horse arrives at our farm, they are given a thorough assessment and we create a customized treatment plan for them to heal their body and mind (ie. a nutrition plan to heal their body and gentle approach to heal their mind, so they regain trust in humans).

Once they are healed physically and mentally, we evaluate their abilities (strengths & weaknesses), temperaments, and determine what job they will enjoy doing the most. We then train them in one or more of the equine disciplines (Hunter/Jumper, Western Pleasure/Trail, Polo, Fox Hunter, Dressage, Eventer, or even just a family pet or companion for another horse).

We pride ourselves in finding the right match for the horse and rider. We have safely placed more than 100 horses and ponies over the years. Our horses are rehomed at an affordable rate, and come with a First Right of Refusal agreement, to ensure the horse will always have a safe and loving home.

Developing a bond with a horse is crucial to having a successful, long-term relationship. We teach riders how to listen, understand, and communicate with the horse, rather than simply trying to take control, which can lead to a dangerous situation. Once the rider and horse understand one another, their connection allows them to trust one another and excel towards their goals.
