rehabilitation Program
At Rise Up Equestrians, our experienced personnel are available 24/7 to provide exceptional medical care and closely monitor the progress of our horses. Our care ranges from special tube feeding, IV fluids, IV & IM injections, special exercise, and proper leg wrapping. We work closely with local equine veterinarians, and within driving distance to premier equine treatment facilities, such as Quakertown Veterinary Clinic, and Penn Vet New Bolton Center (The School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania).

Our goal is to ensure that these magnificent horses are well-prepared for a variety of future roles, whether as reliable riding companions, competitive athletes, or simply beloved members of their new families. By investing time and care into their training, we open up a world of possibilities for each horse, giving them the best chance at a successful and fulfilling future.

We are dedicated to giving off-the-track racehorses a second chance at life. Our mission is to rehabilitate, retrain, and thoroughly evaluate these incredible animals to find the best possible future for each one. However, we understand that not all horses can fully recover physically or mentally to become good riding companions. For those with strong bloodline histories, we provide them with a fulfilling and important role in our breeding program. These special horses become wonderful mothers, giving birth to quality foals that carry on their legacy.
The donations we receive from the sale of these offspring are reinvested into our other programs, allowing us to continue our vital work and support more horses in need. This not only helps us sustain our mission but also ensures that we can contribute quality horses back into the community.

The Ultimate Connection
Developing a bond, a true connection, with a horse is crucial to success. It is a learned skill that requires the rider to feel, listen, and understand the what the horse is trying to communicate. Once the horse and rider can communicate with each other, they trust one another.
We teach riders the fundamental skills to listen for cues from the horse and understand how to respond to those cues, so they can build that connection and form a beautiful partnership. The ultimate experience is to feel like you and the horse are one together - their thoughts become your thoughts, their legs become your legs.
